  • WHAT ARE THE AGE RESTRICTIONS?
"Missions" are recommended 12+. Children under 8 years old are not permitted. "The Acid Bath Murderer Experience" is recommended 16+. Children under 12 are not permitted. Groups containing anyone below the age of 16 years must have at least one paying adult aged 21 or over participating throughout all Experiences. They must be supervised at all times within the Hounds venue and experiences. For this reason we strongly recommend 2 adults accompany groups of children. Hounds cast and crew cannot be responsible for supervising children. Under 16's arriving without an accompanying adult will be refused entry into the venue. PLEASE NOTE: Hounds is designed for a mature audience and there may be profanity, sexual and alcohol references. All Hounds experiences are centered around a cocktail bar. It is at the sole discretion of parents/guardians whether children under the recommended age should attend.
  • ARE THE EXPERIENCES LIKE ESCAPE ROOMS?
Hounds "Missions" share the most similarities with traditional escape rooms. However there are a number of differences including: Unlike Escape Rooms, you won't be against a 60 minute timer. Most Missions unfold over the course of 75-90 minutes. Unlike Escape Rooms, you won't ask for hints. Instead, your hosts will lead you through their mission while you play the main character amongst the action. You won't be "escaping" anything. Challenges you complete will push you towards your objective. Professional live actor hosts entertain you from start to finish, and immerse you into their worlds. "The Acid Bath Murderer Experience" features Escape Room style challenges, but the format follows a "Promenade" style structure of activities alongside thrilling theatrical and cinematic moments. This is the ultimate immersive and interactive experience.
  • WHAT DO THE ACTORS DO?
"Missions" - The actors are there to entertain you! You will be encouraged to join in with the banter. Primarily their role is to set the scene before your experience, and close the show at the end. During the experience they will guide the gameplay, usually remotely but also in person from time-to-time. "The Acid Bath Murderer Experience" - The actors will be appearing throughout the experience to tell you the chilling story of John Haigh. We ask that you do not disturb the actor's performances. Actors may also be seen from time to time in The Kennel Klub bar providing "Street Theatre" entertainment.
  • HOW LONG DOES AN EXPERIENCE LAST?
"Missions" usually last around 75-90 minutes including show openers, gameplay, and show closers. "The Acid Bath Murderer Experience" has an average runtime of 90 minutes from start to end of the showing. There will also be a 5-10 minute orientation before any experience commences. During prime time sessions (evenings and weekends), please allow an extra 15 minutes for any showtime delays.
